What About Windows '95 and Microsoft Network? (We knew you'd ask that!) The short answer is that as this book was going to press, there were significant intangibles and, shall we say, uncertainties about Windows '95 and its Internet-related offerings. Rather than contend with restraining orders and rollout schedules and the like, we opted for the simplest route: let's wait and see. (Besides, we might want to write a sequel!)
If you want to know specifics about Windows 95's Internet capabilities, keep an eye on
the Internet periodicals and general computing publications—they'll be sure to be full of
info. (The most common publications are listed in Periodicals Worth Fishing Out of the
