Troubleshooting Your New Automobile
Are you having problems with your newly purchased automobile? No worries, we can help. That's our business.
- My new car drove great for a few days, but then it suddenly started sputtering, and then it just stopped. I have been unable to get it started since then.
- Have you checked the gasoline level in your new automobile? Your new automobile was supplied with a full tank of gasoline, but through use, the amount of gasoline in your gasoline tank will decrease. You probably need to purchase gasoline for your automobile.
- A red LED display depicting an oil can has been showing up on my dashboard. I've checked the oil and the level seems fine.
- Make sure that you are checking the oil on level ground, and when the engine isn't too hot. If the level still seems okay, you should bring your automobile in for service. It may be there is a short in the electrical connection to the LED indicators.
- My automobile's battery doesn't seem to be holding a charge. It is a new battery.
- Check your automobile's battery connections and clean them off. Make sure you are not leaving on any electrical features (headlights, parking lights, dome light). If the problem persists, bring your automobile in for servicing.
- My automobile seems to be running very rough, as if something is holding it in place, and I have noticed a burning smell when driving. I cannot find any fluid leaks.
- Check your emergency brake (also known as the parking brake). You may be inadvertently leaving this brake on while attempting to drive. You must release the parking brake when you want to drive the car.
